Getting Ready!

So there is something coming up in the near future that I am soooo excited about!! We are heading on our honeymoon! I have been looking forward to this trip for about a year now and I can not believe that this all has flown by so quickly!! The wedding was the best day of my life but the process to getting there was really tiring. Surprisingly less stressful than probably most weddings but that is why I started a year and a half before. I think we both just really need a vacation after the wedding and christmas!

We had an amazing christmas! We spent christmas eve with my family and as morgan says... Holidays are great but Hilladays are the best! We had appetizers and champagne punch (thank you Bugg fam for the recipe) and Kris, Elizabeth and I each came up with a game to play with the whole family! Kristen picked the "how many M&m's are in the jar" game... she counted 800 and something M&m's and put them in a jar and had everyone guess... Elizabeth won. She was lucky that the jar full of kristen melted m&m's was not the prize. Elizabeth brought over a christmas word scramble game and we got into teams and unscrambled them! that was a crowed pleaser. I picked christmas pictionary and everyone seemed to have a really great time playing that too! We came back the next morning and opened presents ( thanks mom for decking me out in my fav designer Burberry! ) and aunt robyn brought the food! She took a special tradition from one of my other families the Wynn family and made us a Pizza Bar! That was particularly fun because Morgan Wynn (my sanity) spent christmas afternoon with us! After lunch Jacob, my dad, my cousin Peter, Morgan, and myself went to see the movie "True Grit". The boys were all skeptical because apparently it is sacrilegious to remake a John Wayne movie. Morgan and I had never seen the original so we had no expectations. Turns out it was good all around and everyone enjoyed it! After the movie Jacob and I went to Jacob's aunt Cindy's and played dirty santa and enjoyed our first christmas as a married couple and also the first christmas with babies around the house (Jacob's cousins had babies this summer 1 week apart!) It was a fun time! But now we are just looking forward to our trip!

We leave on Sunday at 5:45 am.... yea...
From OKC we leave and fly to florida where they will pick us up at the airport and take us to the boat! Did I mention we were going on a cruise? From the port we will travel for seven days and travel to the CocoCay Bahamas, St. Thomas, and Phillipsburg St. Maarten! We have been on this ship before with my family a few years back and while we were on that trip Jacob said "we are going on a cruise for our honeymoon!" and he wasn't kidding! He is looking forward to the food and so am I! We are also looking forward to all of the things there are to do on the ship! There are shows, bingo, a casino, clubs and even more restaurants and fun on the ships and beaches and fun at port! We can not wait! I plan on updating y'all every step of our trip! we are just busy packing and getting ready now so on sunday we can just get up and go!!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and I hope you have a great rest of the day! If you get cold next week just picture yourself on our trip and maybe it will warm you up! Ill try and get some pictures for you up when we get there so that way you can have visual aids :)

Love Ya'll!!!
